Local Services
There is a warm welcome awaiting you here in the Quercy, on the edge of Aquitaine, and we look forward to sharing some of the treasures of life in France with you.
Eating Out
Restaurants in the area are in abundance; excellent or good, expensive or cheap, large or small and close to Mirou or further away. There are even a couple within walking distance.
During the main season there are evening markets, where you can buy your own picnic or full blown evening meal and eat it on tables surrounded by music, wonderful smells and people enjoying themselves. Look at the list of locations on the Activities page under Night Markets.

Markets
With all the local produce, including prunes, foie gras, magret, cheeses, peaches, cherries, crepes, walnuts, tobacco and wine at least one market can be found somewhere on every day of the week. Local information will give you more comprehensive lists, but Prayssac on Friday, Villeneuve-sur-Lot and Montaigu de Quercy on Saturday and Roquecor on Sunday are either the best or most local.
In the summer there is a market at Frespech where you can buy your picnic and sit to eat it under the plum trees, and don't forget the evening markets mentioned above.
